(SYDNEY, NS – January 6th, 2025) – Bud’s Speedway in Sydney, Nova Scotia is excited to unveil their 2025 stock car racing schedule. The season features seven events over six weekends, including two Wednesday night specials, with five unique divisions competing for track championships. The Caper Memorial anchors the schedule for a fourth season as the season finale on Friday, October 17th and Saturday, October 18th.
The season in Sydney will open on Saturday, June 14th and continues on Saturday, July 5th and Saturday, August 2nd with five divisions on the card – including the Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, V6 Thunders, Hobby Stocks and Bandoleros. The schedule shifts to Wednesday evenings on August 13th and September 17th with Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, V6 Thunders and Hobby Stocks.
The 2025 racing season will conclude on October 17th and 18th with the Fourth Annual Caper Memorial. All local house divisions will crown 2025 track champions on the weekend. Saturday, October 18th will see visits from the Heart of a Champion Hot Rod Classics and the Tim’s Corner Motorsports Bandolero Road Trip along with a season ending Late Model Sportsman feature event.

The next event for Bud’s Speedway takes place on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 as the accomplishments of drivers and teams from the 2024 season are honoured during the 2204 Awards Banquet. The event will take place at the Horizon Achievement Centre in Sydney. The 2024 champions at Bud’s Speedway include Dyllan Farrell (Klondike Kid Fisheries Street Stocks), Kody Quinn (Saf-way Auto Parts Mini Stock), Dan Webb (Bendle’s Home Improvements V6 Thunder), Dave Timmons (Mallard Electric Hobby Stock) and Addison Veinotte (GWL Trucking and Landscaping Bandolero).
